Aeris Capital was formed in 2008 to work at the intersection of energy markets, finance, and technology.

The firm advises on physical and financial energy: power, natural gas, oil, emissions, RECs, weather, and battery storage. That work includes pricing and curve construction, contract and asset databases, execution and risk systems, transaction strategy, and expert testimony on commodity valuation.

Since 2012, Aeris has also provided seed capital and operating advice to early- and mid-stage companies, including in medicine, consumer finance, and applied technology.

Aeris is based in New York, New Jersey, and Houston.
